Pittsburgh Coin Show - He Shoots and Scores!

I've been waiting for months and the day has finally arrived, the big coin show finally comes to Pittsburgh. This show is put on by Pennsylvania Association of Numismatists and they have a big show in Pittsburgh twice a year, Spring and Fall. For the last several years, the show has been held in the Monroeville Convention Center in Monroeville, PA (about 10 miles east of Pittsburgh).

They had over 175 tables this year with sellers from Maine to South Carolina and as far west as Illinois. The main room was packet out.

It was at this point I was yelled at by a kindly old security guard telling me I was not able to take pictures inside without the sellers permission. Yikes, this little old lady was half my size and twice my age. I apologized and asked her if she wanted me to delete my pictures. She just said "don't take anymore".

I did notice she was following me around for a little bit more, but then she must have got tired because I was running around like a 5-year-old in Toys-r-Us!

So I performed my initial fly-over looking at all of the tables and noting which ones I wanted to come back to.

One table was selling a lot of Perth Mint and Canadian series coins. That was my first stop!

I've been wanting the Lunar II Year of the Dog and I finally got them today. I scored a 10oz and a 1oz!

I also picked up a few other goodies from this table.
A 2015 Year of the Goat.

The 2015 and 2018 Kookaburras

And a 2017 Koala

At another table, I scooped up a 2017 Kangaroo, a 2017 Canadian Predator Lynx, and this nifty 2oz silver bullet!

And now, the best for last!

I came upon the table by Yeager Poured Silver (http://yeagerspouredsilver.com/) out of Fowler, Ohio. I got to meet and talk with the owner as well as see most of his poured silver offerings up close.

Time to drop some money!!! 😎

I picked up a hand full of his 1oz pieces...
