Hard Lessons Learned by a Newbie in steemit
My life is full of hard lessons learned. Hard because they are results of mistakes made.

It has only been 36 days since I started participating actively in steemit.
- I posted quality articles on my blog DAILY.
- I commented on as many people's posts to the greatest extent possible.
- I responded to comments left on my blog posts.
And I upvoted,
and upvoted,
and upvoted,
and upvoted,
and upvoted,
and upvoted
...until I lost 75% of my voting power!!!!
Now I have to face the real consequences of my mistakes....
.. and not for 3 or 4 days, anyway.
Oh, well... the important thing is...

Bummer when you over vote! I usually have to take 1 day off a week. How's your bandwidth doing? Your posts have been great! I enjoyed them all.
The thing is, it is a hard platform to learn, unless someone takes you under their wing... but pretty much one is on his/her own. Bandwidth, you say? Another term.... So... Let me check... k, it is at 99.4% and I dunno what that means. I am finding some new friends, who are helpful... and I am so grateful. Frustrating, for sure. Thanks for letting me vent.
we had that problem and then we delegated some of our steem to ourselves and not sure how it all works but no more upvoting issues found a good blog about it will share the link if we can find it again lol

Don't even worry about it. I ran mine down to around 14% once. It happens. Once you start using Busy.org or get to 500 SP, you'll have that slider bar, so you can manage your VP better. In the meantime, just have a good time. :)

The voting thing sucks, losing bandwidth is worse. Your SP is high enough that you should be safe from that debacle. When you lose bandwidth you can’t post or comment or anything.

"No vote power" means zero or below a certain level?
In this case it was a joke, but yes my votes are worth $0.00 and steemit allows you to give 10 votes each day at 100% power and I have depleted that too! 😂
When you have over 500 SP you apparently get a slider so you can give more votes at lower power. I am not making the most sense. ☺️
Hi. I spent much time on learning all tips and tricks as I was new from YouTube. I use steemnow a lot and beloww is your situation you can see yourself as well using that site: It gives your power% , the upvotes and the earnings and pending votes all in one screen.
Once you start buying upvotes from bots steembottracker is the tool here to check you must be extra carefull as some will cost you a lot and some can earn you money and give you visability as well. Gla dto help in time
Same terrible habit of over extending bandwidth. I should just dump the rest of my Bitcoin for Steem and some real powering up.
