US Mint RUMOR - Not sold out of 2019 ASE 1oz enhanced reverse !
I came across a post on Instagram today. It came from a creditable source too!
As most precious metal enthusiasts know. The US Mint released the 2019 American Silver Eagle Reverse enhanced 1oz silver round. Accompanied by a very low mintage of 30,000. The website sale posted at 12pm. Servers crashed immediatly at 12pm. The sale lasted no more than 15 minutes. Many couldn't even load up the website during this time.
Soon after those coins were listed on eBay for 10x the sale price!
The post on Instagram reveals the US Mint held back on releasing a percentage of the 1oz rounds. Essentially manipulating the market. It's always interesting to hear stories like this and try to sort out the intentions.
Prices will drop upon the second release of these coins. Keep everyone posted on the status of this rumor.

The 2019 ASE was sold out the first quarter!!! I received an email from the US Mint. Perhaps they over-projected and minted more than the demand on the succeeding batches. Thanks for the information, @silveringots.
The "enhanced" reverse proof sold out in 10 minutes. It was out of control. NOV 12. It looks like they may have held back tho!!!
