My passion for vintage ingots has brought me to vintage promotional items. Refiners, mines, and metalurgists would create promotional items that reference their company and brand. For example, Engelhard produced pewter statues of miners paning gold. Also, they would put a silver bar in Lucite. Which can be easily used as a paperweight. They would fine a spot to stamp their logo on these promotional items.
A neat Engelhard tape measurer key chain. Very handy! I've actually used it many times for silver ingots.
