CrabTree Mint $100 GUARANTEE Round....
After a long shift at work today I stopped by my local LCS. Not much there today but I did find this Gem.

What struck me stupid was the the first pic and what it said, "CrabTree Mint Guarantees to repurchase this ingot for no less than 100 Dollars after Dec 25 1986"...... Never seen any other round with a buy back guarantee. But guess what..... They are no longer in business... Alas Im stuck with just the price of the 2 ounces of silver it was constructed out of. Nice Post Hammer. I've never seen that before either on a round. I wonder if you could charge more of a premium because of the guarantee, then just go out of business to avoid having to buy the rounds back.
That would and should be the current value.... they new they had to go out of business....

That's a bummer they're no longer in business. Probably because they guaranteed to buy back the rounds at a specific price and the price of silver probably didn't go there. Ooops. At lease you got a cool round out of it.
