13 Picks Of Christmas

Now, I know there are only 12 days of Christmas before anyone says something, but why cant we have 13? 😉

So with that being said, the first Pick Of Christmas is from a mint that has and will always be one of my favorite Mints. They always seem to add the extra touch from the UV stamp all they way to going square..

This one I figured would be a good start to the 13 picks of Christmas. It is the 250 gram Geiger silver bar. Its the new square style but still comes with all the security features that the old bars did.

Here is a little history about Geiger privided by JMBullion

Each of the 250 Gram Geiger Square Silver Bars available to you here comes from the Geiger Original Series. Available in gold and silver, the silver bars for sale in this collection offer some of the most impressive variety youll find in the precious metals market. Geiger produces these silver bars in weights ranging from the diminutive 1 Gram to the massive 5 Kilos of silver.

The 250 Silver Bars here are available inside of plastic packaging for individual purchases or boxes when you purchase 45 bars. For bulk purchases, you have the option to purchase the bars in boxes of 45. The bars are vacuum-sealed and stacked in wooden boxes.

Geiger Original Series silver bars feature a variety of security features to prevent counterfeiting. Many of these features are included in the physical design and production of the bar. The obverse of the bars includes a pearl finish to the design field, with a textured reverse field that has a high-relief design finish. There is a ribbed edge to the bar with each reverse field coated in a UV layer that reveals an LEV rhombus security feature under black light.

The obverse of the 250 Gram Geiger Square Silver Bar includes the structure of Schloss Guldengossa. This Baroque-style castle was constructed outside of Leipzig, Germany in 1720 and became the first registered building in Geiger Edelmetalle following the companys acquisition of the structure. Today it is the corporate headquarters for the refinery.

On the reverse of all Geiger Square Silver Bars is the image of a series of repeating LEV rhombus logos. This same logo appears in the very center of the design field in a UV coating when a black light is shone on the bar. There is also an engraving of a unique serial number on this side.

Geiger Edelmetalle was founded in Germanys southeastern mountains in 1218. The region has been home to silver mining and a robust silver merchant trade for more than 1,000 years now.

Those are so nice, I am still mad I missed one this summer... I think it might have been an RCS sale... Those are some sweet pieces!!

Love Geiger bars. Especially the traditional square ones. I have a bunch of one ouncers and a ten ounce. Need to get that 250 gram and the kilo still.

The kilo is sweet, you should get you one, be a great way to end the year.

I’m sure it is. I wish, not in the budget right now...😪

That is an excellent first pick! Geiger bars are the TOP!

Very nice piece of art.
