Silver to Burn's Poured Anthill Art
I placed a few orders at @Pit-Bullion's website the other night during Metals Mafia chat. They were having several drawings for some really nice community poured pieces and I won (a few times... multiple entries). I hate to rub it in, but it was a very lucky night for me and I can't thank the participants and contributors enough!
Today I received one of the prizes from the very talented Silver to Burn. He's such a friendly and down to earth dude that I feel lucky to know. Without further ado here is the piece:
He poured molten silver down an anthill. No two pieces could ever be alike. LOVE these creations!
I have a few more angles to show, but first the CoA:
I have more than a few of Burnie's pieces, but I wouldn't say I have ENOUGH. Again, I'm a pretty lucky guy :D
Fantastic! Contact info for Burnie above. Get you some!
Yeah, that was a crazy night and unfortunately I wasn't so lucky. Was still worth the cash I spent.
This piece is very creative. At first I thought it was a mess, but then you explained it and I now see it appeal. Looking forward to the next metal-mafia chat.
What an idea! A very interesting piece. I like it!
Pork & Beans
That is wicked cool! Since no two are the same is this the 4th one he ever did?
Woah! That anthill is amazing! I wasn't sure what you meant, then when I realized he had poured it down the anthill, I was really impressed.
Question though, is it really .9999 silver, or are there ants in there? ;)
That is one sweet piece 👍🏻
Very cool. My best customer makes ones like that out of aluminum and I repair em when they break. They're a smidge bigger than that one though.
Really cool piece :)
