# 34 - Sports
We will now show a group of four $.50 coins that were issued by the US Mint to commemorate the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta.
All the four are 91.67% copper and 8.33% nickel and the weight is 11.34g.
The first is the 1995 "Baseball". Its obverse features a batter, a catcher, and an umpire. The reverse was a common one for all the four coins: it features the logo of the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games placed in the Atlantic Ocean on a world map.
The second is 1995 "Basketball". Its obverse show us a moment of the game.
The third is the 1996 "Soccer". The obverse features two women playing soccer. At that time soccer was mostly a feminine sport in the USA, but not in the rest of the world.
The fourth is a 1995 "Olympic Swimming", showing us a swimmer in a lane.
