# 318 - 10oz Coins - Part 2
Let's continue showing a small series consisting in the 10oz silver coins that I bought last November in Canada.
These massive coins are not easy to photograph, so shiny and reflexive and I am not an expert photographer...
This is the third coin of the Queen's Beasts series : The Red Dragon of Wales.
Its reverse features a dragon, which has symbolized Wales since 829 A.D. The dragon represents sovereignty and power, and was first used in the Royal Arms in the 16th century. The shield the dragon is holding displays a lion in each quarter, as on the coat of arms of Llywelyn the Last, the last native Prince of Wales.
The obverse depicts the fifth crowned portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the George IV State Diadem.

Is the design of the 2oz and the 10oz the same? I know that the proof ones are different.
They have the same design on both sides. The difference is the size of each...
My favorite of the Series! Awesome as a two oz, got to be a Monster as a Ten Oz size.
These 10oz Queen's Beasts are in easels around my computer. Beautiful!
