Continuing the Modern Commemoratives Dollar series, we will present you today the 1995 "Olympic Gymnastics" graded by PCGS PR70 DCAM.

All coins of this series weight 26.73g with 90% silver purity. They were issued in Proof and Brilliant Uncirculated finish.

They will be presented in the order they were minted.

This coin was issued as part of an ambitious range of commemorative coins issued for the XXVI Olympiad Summer Games held in Atlanta, Georgia.

The obverse of the coin was designed by James C. Sharpe and shows an athlete on rings.

The reverse features a design used in common for all of the 1995 Olympic Silver Dollars issued. This portrays the clasped hands of two athletes.

A total of 182,676 coins were minted in Philadelphia. The issue price was U$34.95. The actual price is around U$450.00 in this grade.

This series will continue very soon.

You are always very welcome here. Thanks for the visit.

Wow Rono!!! The fact you have so many graded at 70 is truly amaze-ballz!

✨☠️💀☠️✨

I have been collecting MS70 and PR70 Modern Commemoratives for the last 25 years... I am happy to see you here.

Cheers Rono! Heya, what is the difference between MS and PR please?

PR is proof, a special type of minting that makes a coin much more shiny than an ordinary new coin. MS means mint state, so the coin never circulated.

😁👍👍

Thanks for info
