You already own silver
You come in contact with silver everyday, and probably don't even realize it.
Silver is much more that just a metal for jewelry or to invest in bullion. Chances are you have much more silver then you realize
PHOTOGRAPHY---- this is one of the more widely known uses for silver. All of your prints and photo's hanging on your walls, you guess it silver is involved. In the form of silver halide crystals.
PASSPORTS---so if you do alot of traveling, and you have a new epassport. The RFID chip contains silver.
DRINKING WATER ----okay, its not directly in the water, but it is used to transport and purify it. Silver has a natural antibacteria properties and is non toxic to humans.
SOLAR & NUCLEAR POWER--- silver has the best thermal and electrical conductivity of all metals. Silver fastest growing consumer are now in the solar arena.
CLOTHING---every buy those fancy antimicrobial socks, you know the ones that controll foot oder, you guessed it, silver is the anti stink agent in those socks.
ELECTRONICS---so this is a big one, it is just about in everything, and it will be in its purest form .9999 fine silver. It's in, light switches, microwaves, wiring in your house, every CD and DVD, computers, cell phones, batteries and even in LED lights.
AUTOMOBILES--- all those little electronic contacts, thats right silver. Your rear window defroster, relies on silver to de-ice your windows. Your rearview mirror and infact just about ever mirror you look at, has silver in it.
So how about cutting silver some slack,

Silvers antimicrobial properties are probably one of the biggest future uses of this metal, it is already used in some wound dressings and creams and there is suggestions that silver could be used to increase the effectiveness of existing antibiotics by helping them penetrate the microbes outer coating.

I wonder also if my grandparents lived into their late 80s and 90s because most of the coins that they used were sterling silver at that time , food for thought i guess.

Silver is the great Catch-22 for the powers that be. They suppress the price to discourage it from being a store of value. They claim it's not money, yet many countries continue to mint silver coins, with ridiculously low denominations, which they sell to the people at spot price.
The price suppression comes back to bite them, when silver mines are unable to mine the metal for a profit, which causes more shortages. Yet somehow despite heavy industrial demand, prices remain stagnant.

Great post, silver is the second most used product after oil and some say is rarer than gold now! Most of the world throw it away without realising what its true value could and should be. Stacking one piece at a time.

Silver used in solar panels was the industry that I thought would give a BOOST to the PRICE OF SILVER.
We are so gung-ho about renewable energy and the environment. We are building and using solar panels for energy. We hear reports about the huge gains in solar based energy creation and consumption.
Yet, NOBODY reports on the increased usage of silver and it doesn't seem to have ANY IMPACT to INCREASE the PRICE.
Rant over... good posting all these other industrial uses. kudos.

The fundamentals don't matter presently re: price. There is enough Ag currently to supply tech/electronics/medical/solar sector, and they will buy it whatever the price -- this demand is fairly constant. And will increase over time.
Obviously, to us in the know, the actual value of Ag far surpasses the current price. But the current price is set by the massive banks and fraudsters at the top of this heinous and illegal game. The shorts are getting covered! JP Morgan has been the heavy-weight stacker champion of the world for some time. They are stock piling the stuff like mofos because they know when the sea change happens they will make money all the way up.
What is awesome, and clearly demonstrated by this community, is the power of the little guy. Every ounce that gets taken off the table is another drop falling out of the bucket...and that baby is running dry -- not filling up.
Further, with these absurd prices there are many miners who are just going to shutter operations. This will decrease supply. Eventually stores are going to run dry, and when the paper starts getting de-leveraged there will be a huge demand for investment grade bullion.
The fact that we can order it like it was a pair of socks from Amazon and it actually arrives is one of the best kept secrets out there. Inthe future, people will shake there heads with incredulity and ask why we weren't buying more...
And so... Stack 'em up fellas! When Silver turns North and shoots passed ath, your gonna wanna have some ounces to trade for things like: real property (estate), healthy food and the luxury of doing whatever tf you want.
The price of Silver is suppressed by the banks, just like gold....but that won't last for ever, so it's definitely worth stacking it if you can!
