IT'S MORE THAN WHAT YOU THINK
Over the past couple of days, I am sure that you have seen a post regarding the new limited Steem Silver coin.

SO WHAT IS IT?
It's Education, Protection, Investment and the Future
Education
It seems that over the years real money has been pushed to the side and has been replaced with paper money. (fiat currencey) To a silver stacker this is a dangerous situation. There will come a time, when paper money is only worth the paper it was printed on. So how does this relate to the Steem coin? It's simple, get a piece of silver into the hands of someone that doesn't have a piece of silver and make them like it. So what better than the Steem coin. Once you get that Steemit coin in your hand, chances are you are gonna want another one. See sometimes you have to let people see and feel the worth of something, when you hold a Silver round in your hand you can feel the wealth of it. So I wonder how many people that bought the Steem coin, had never bought any silver before.
PROTECTION
Protection is something we all need. Paper currency has come and failed in many areas of this small place we call earth. It is just a matter of time before your paper currency fails. Silver and gold has never failed, and will never fail. It will always carry a value. The more of it you have the better off you will be. Now don't get me wrong I understand that crypto currency is out there, but really there is not enough history to call it protection yet, it is still in the investment category in my opinion. Any thing that is tangible will be protection for you and silver and gold are very tangible.
INVESTMENT
I will let you in on a little a secret, silver, gold steem amd any other cryptos are currently undervalued. In my opinion silver and gold are the most undervalued asset in the world right now. So here is where your investment comes in. Trade that paper currency for as much silver and gold as you possibly can and pick up some cryptos while you are at it. Now a good way to look at these investments is this "don't invest to become rich, invest to prevent you from becoming poor." Because we will and some of us have woken up to a paper currency that is worthless.
FUTURE
I saved this one for last simply because it's the coolest one. Lets face it STEEMIT is the future of social media. Silver is the future money(my opinion) so why not have a steemit Silver coin. 2 futures coming together as one, In my opinion it doesn't get any better than this.
So cherish this moment, cause you are part of history in the making

Very cool coin, be careful, stacking is addictive, but it is a good addiction.
This post brings it all together. The education and getting it in another's hand is a great point. Besides holding it, I flip it in the air to hear it ring. That is the sound of wealth.

Agreed! For those of us in the #steemsilvergold community, it's the ultimate combination of two of our passions.
We started the #silvergoldbotty account in order to help grow our community, but I think in the end, the creation of the #steemsilverround will accomplish that task all the more. There has been an avalanche of interest in this coin since the pictures of it have been hitting Steem (even @Ned himself was impressed by it). I truly believe that the demand for the 2018 edition will be in excess of 5,000 coins.

Great post. Silver and gold are the real and only “stores of wealth”. Unfortunately our educational system and the whole financial system do not teach us that anymore because of their own agenda in creating more debt to maintain the current fiat system, which will eventually blow up.
