Perth Mint New Release.....Tomorrow!
G'day All. Just a quick post.
For those who are not aware, The Perth Mint has a new series release tomorrow, September 5th.
These coins generally sell very quickly. Particularly the limited release versions.

Holy Crap!! $1,795.00 for the 1 Kilo??? I really wanted one, but not that bad! (I see that that the mintage is only 500, but WTF!! They could have easily made 30,000 and sold them for half the price).
Oh well.
Stuff that! I never looked at the 1 Kilo price.
You can get a 1 Kilo Koala coin for $790 on their bullion site at today's prices.
Same coin, different picture (and not limited mintage).
I normally buy from the bullion dept rather that the coin site.

Auspost and Perth Mint are kind of like polar opposites when it comes to Australian government institutions haha.
Yep. I'm sure the Perth Mint would like some form of cost effective and efficient mailing service but at the moment they've just got AusPost.
Not a bad looking dog compared to the one from the royal mint I saw posted recently.
