RAS KIMONO VISITS HIS ANCESTORS

Nigeria's raggea artist dies today, Sunday, 10th June, 2018. He died after a very brief illness at the Lagoon Hospital at Ikoyi-Lagos. He had planned to travel to the US for a medical trip before his death. This has thrown the Nigerian music industry into morning.

Ra's Kimono was born some sixty (60) years ago at Agbor, Delta state. His many songs was inspired by the pace of injustices across Africa, Apartheid rule in South Africa, Mismanagement of public funds, extra judicious killings and so on. The "Under Pressure" crooner had motivated a lot of young artist during his life time.

Some few months back, Raski had grooved the stage with his musician daughter live on stage.

In the early 90s, Ras Kimono became a brand name in every home in Nigeria, Africa and beyond. The under listed were some of his sensible tracks.
