My 2018 Barber Zombuck Silver Coin. Currency of the apocalypse, that has literally been through an apocalypse! This is real antiquing performed by a blazing inferno of Hellfire!
It was victim to the Fort McMurray Wildfire of 2016 in Alberta Canada. The fire caused nearly $10billion worth of damage destoying everything in its path, nearly 2500 homes were destroyed. This piece of silver was recovered from the ashes of an incinerated home.

I got this Amazing coin from a Canadian youtuber called NOTAPOLITECANADIAN.
https://www.youtube.com/user/NOTAPOLITECANADIAN His home was completely destoyed in the fire, luckily he escaped unharmed. His car was the only thing he was left with!
There was nothing left of his house just a pile of toxic ash. His insurance covered his home, but only a very small percentage of his bullion stack was covered. The fire had completely melted away his safe and destroyed his collection, but he got a biohazard suit and filtered through the ashes with a screen to try and recover at least some of his losses.

He managed to find some of the coins but they were completely ruined, alot of his gold coins completely melted away never to be found. Only one coin managed to somehow survive unscathed, ironically it was the smallest gold coin in his collection.
Some of that melted gold ended up on this silver coin if you look at the "E"in Barber you can see a nice little patch of 24k gold gilding!
The condition and story of this coin is completely fitting with the Zombuck designs and the idea behind them of an Apocalyptic Currency. Definately one of a kind!
@goldenarms also had a piece of Wildfire Silver but unfortunately he lost it while carrying as his pocket piece, which totally sucks because it had some totally sick 'drippage' heres the link to his video showing his off if you want to take a look-

Thankfully the youtube community pulled together as they often do for a fellow stacker in need, and donated him silver to help give his new stack a strong start, and keep up his spirits during a devastating time. And construction work on his new home is finally underway :)

Thanks for Checking out my post, Don't forget to Share the Love if you liked it. Cheers :)

Oh Wow, Its Beautiful...

you'll never see another one like it :)

You are nice and fun to talk to.

It would be horrible to lose your stack like that. Us stackers really put our blood, sweat, and tears into our bullion. I'd be in tears if this happened to me.

I know it was heartbreaking to watch. All those high premium pieces collected with love, reduced to scrap. At least one positive though is that gold and silver can still be recovered at the end, he lost some of it but got alot of it back. if you were an art collector or antique furniture or something then there would be nothing but ash. thanks for looking bud

I can remember all people flowing into Ft McMurray to here in Edmonton where I live during the fires. It was a terrible, yet uplifting time to see Albertans and other Canadians band together.

wow great post , it was a crazy fire last year sucks the insurance can screw people so easy, This is a nice piece still and one of a kind

it was crazy! and its taking a long time to repair the damage hopefully they take precautions to stop it happening again. Thanks buddy.

Great. Thanks for sharing. I'm starting to follow you.

Thanks capari :)

Amazing story. Heartbreaking as well. Can't believe the fire was so hot it melted the entire safe.

i think the fire was over 1200 degrees celsius, the surface of the sun is 6000 so nerly 20% as hot as the sun. i know it is heartbreaking, our house burned down when i was a kid and everything gone, but stuff is just stuff and we have to be thankful that were still alive. NOTAPOLITECANADIAN is a lovely guy and im glad to be able to share his heartbreaking but incredible story.

Awesome piece of silver, it even has a hole for a necklace, but what a tragic story my friend. I think if that was me I would be in there with the metal detector looking for the metal, cheers.

I know its really tragic but an amazing story to tell when i show it to friends, he did a good job and got a high percentage of it back but some of it just seemed to dissappear, of got alloyed into other scrap metal i dont know?

BRUH THAT SHIT BEEN THROUGH HELL AND BACK LOLOL 🔥🔥🔥

forged in the flames lol :)

Dude your piece is so sick! I miss mine terribly. What a nice guy giving away what was left of his stack. I haven't seen him around for a long time, hope he's well? Great post man, cherish yours. I upvoted and resteemed this. Cheers

Sweet cheers bud! yeah he posted a vid a few months back showing the concrete foundation for his house being layed so hopefully its making progress now i expect hes really busy! yeah i had to clean it up with sandpaper it had loads of crap on it like yours but its starting to tone back up nicely now :)
