When you enter the image location link it should offer up a preview of the GIF before submission.
A handy site you can also use is called 'GIPHY' this has many that you can cut the link straight from rather than performing a Google image search and changing the prefferd option from normal to animated.
Hopefully that will help you with your entry into the contest.

Thanks a lot for the replay. It's first time i am adding animated gifs so thanks a lot for the guidelines... maybe there are other participants as well who experience the same situation like me so they can have an idea now!
