Daily Coin #89 Our daily coins today are a 1921-1956-1957 1/2 Swiss Francs

Continuing on with the silver coins from Switzerland in my collection , today we have a few more 1/2 franc coins . With 6,000,000 minted in 1921 and 4,250,000 and 12,085,000 respectively in 56-57 there was and still is no shortage of these coins ! Minted in Bern all three of these coins were made of .835% silver ,weigh 2.5 grams ,and are 18.2 in diameter by 1.28 mm thick .
The obverse of all three coins is the same proudly standing Helvetia holding a spear and leaning on a Swiss shield . Her name written below and surrounded by the 22 stars representing her cantons .

The reverse of our coins feature a kind of simple ruggedness in my opinion ! It is simply a year and a value inside a wreath with the mint mark (B) below .

The edge of these coins are reeded .
