Justice Mint Wild Turkey Bar
I found this odd looking piece at my local shop. I was not familiar with Justice Mint, but it's just the kind of thing I look for in the generic bin, so I picked it up anyway.
Since purchasing, I've researched a bit more and this mint produced bars in the 1970's, during the silver art bar heyday. They made a couple other bars with birds on them as well, and some with dogs, and some with inventors. It seems like a really odd assortment of designs.
The other side is a bit off as well. From what I've seen in other examples from Justice, it's not unusual for the strike to be off center, but this one seems extreme. It's definitely not the finest quality silver bar I've ever seen, but it's an ounce of silver, and I love finding these oddities for low prices.
Does anyone know any more about Justice? It seems like a pretty short-lived homegrown operation. They didn't produce a lot of designs, and I couldn't really find any information on them.
You Know @methus I Just had to Reach for The Book when I saw this Post and the Mintage on this Bad Boy is 5000 Pieces Serial Numbered of Course and it is Ironic that yours is 1963 the Year Kennedy was Assassinated............

But it had the mintage listed as 1973, which I assumed was a mistake. From what I've seen, Justice did runs of 5000 often, though I have to wonder why they had a leading zero on it if they were going to limit it to 5000.
