You are on the right path, my friend! You nailed it, our credit based system has allowed folks to live beyond their means for too long.
Logic tells us that a time of reckoning will come, and only those who understand the value of sound money and make every effort to live within their means, value frugality, and save more than they spend will prosper. Best to you!
Somehow it seems only a small percentage of the western population seem to posses such logic for now, If I were to compare to any other time in history, the current situation reminds me of what I've heard and read about the "roaring 20's", we all know what came next. I totally agree that those of us who kept a cool head in this consumerism credit frenzy will be better able to withstand the storm. Thank you for stopping by :)
