I live next door in Saskatchewan. I have done the full mine tour there about 5 years ago, went deep shaft and through the tipple. This time we opted for the ground tour and a riding tour in the little coal train. It was OK too, and my wife didn't want to get all covered in black dust, which you will in the full tour.

right on , neighbors !😎 I go there every year, well not the mine but Drumheller. The tipple is cool and all but that's something you see once get your fill. I have written a few pieces on drumheller in the last year, I was surprised to see someone else write about it, such an obscure place not too many people know about.

Its one of my favorite places for camping and golfing. And I just like the badlands for scenery. Have you been to Roosevelt National park in North Dakota? Its similar terrain.

no I haven't would be worth checking out for sure. Camping in drumheller is great , that's why I go...pretty much right by the hoodoos, that and hiking in the canyons. Ever go visit the near-by buffalo jumps?
