Treasure found in paradise!!!
Hola from a slice of paradise on earth! The sun is warm and the water is cool in the paradise island of Ibiza, Spain!!
The shadow in the middle, doesn't it look like the tree of life design on the 2018 STEEM rounds? I am so looking forward to returning home to receive it!
Signs abound, warning the good folks to keep away from..... pirates!!
They must be hiding their stash somewhere.
The kids went eagerly into the calling waters, clear as can be. Snorkeling in the near shores, collecting shells. My niece caught a glimpse of round metal and picked it up.
And she found treasure!!
A ring, marked Handarbeit 925. 925 is the standard mark of sterling silver signifying 92.5% of silver content. A quick google search, Handarbeit is German for 'handmade'. This is not a mass produced piece.
The ring has some gold plating on the design elements on the triangles, and a small gem, not known if it is a real diamond or a clear crystal. What a great find!! We should have it appraised. This was found on a public beach, plenty of tourists and locals alike. I guess in this case, finders keepers?
Along the way, I have also seen @myprecious sisters painted on the walls. Perhaps they visit these shores sometimes?
We both are in Spain. I am in the mainland's north.
