Finally! A lion in my collection!
I have been following the Queen Beast series. The 2oz Lion of England is the first release of the series, and the coins have been pricey, even raw ungraded coins. Well, instead of paying the premium of the 2oz, I decided to go BIG!!
I got this along with the 10oz dragon, that I shared in my self-intro post yesterday.
These coins are really hefty, real solid feel to them. Love them!!
I love this series. I have all the 2oz coins and the Lion 10oz coin, but I intend to buy all the 10 oz series.
Yes, I love this series too! I think one of the best designed series in modern times. I will pick up a Lion 2oz if I see good pricing, but I suppose the premiums might continue to go up!
