A nice and controversial ROC silver coin. Especially with the birds above the ship flying in a warplane formation, I recall that this was a reminder of the horrors of the Sino-Japanese war. Another coin was made without the birds on it.

At a local coin show, I met an Asian fellow that specialized in Chinese coins, he showed me that very coin and told me the story behind it.
