I sometimes host Thanksgiving dinner at home as a treat to my girlfriends who I know all stress out during this day preparing a feast for their families. I am not doing it this year and received several invitations to spend Thanksgiving dinner with their families. I gave my regrets to all. But I am not spending Thanksgiving alone. I will be with the hungry and homeless, serving in a soup kitchen.
Today I am grateful for your loving friendship, sis @kerrislravenhill! Although we have not met each other, to me, you are that sister I never had. I am blessed to have you in my life and very grateful for your love.
