C - I finally "got it" when I learned that a few bucks of junk silver US coins were still worth enough in silver to buy a gallon of gas. It's not the commodities that are changing - it's the federal reserve notes themselves. I studied economics in undergrad and devote a lot of time to studying markets/inflation. At my core I am a contrarian investor. So when I see something that looks good/valuable that few in "informed" circles are discussing I like to get on board while the getting is good!
