Well the real Emu's seem to want one. They come in 1 OZ silver and gold and have a new design also for the obverse with the Queenie. Brexit or no brexit she rules on and on....

I don't particularly find Emus pretty birds other their ungainly size, they must have something going on in their political lobby to get themselves on the coins like "Emu lives matter!"
I find emus kind of terrifying in real life. We saw a flock of wild ones crossing the road once in Australia’s Snowy Mountains. That was fine. But at the zoos and animal parks the birds often walk freely with the guests. There they always follow you around like tall angry chickens! 🤣😂
