Gold Versus Silver - VALUE

The value of this .5 gram gold bar is literally worth $21.23. That is based on 1 Troy ounce of gold is $1320.50.
This 0.5 gram bar is sold at APMEX for $32.13. I paid about $25, but at today's price, it would have cost $26.41.

The value of this 1 Troy Ounce American Silver Eagle is literally worth $17.18. This American Silver Eagle is sold at various prices ranging $19.18 through $19.47.
I paid about $19, and at today's price, it would have cost $19.18.

VALUE - Advantage Gold -

By a slight margin, the gold bar is more valuable: Gold($21.23) over Silver(17.18). This $4 difference for this comparison is negligible in my opinion.

Gold Versus Silver - IGR Bar or ASE Coin

This particular gold bar is in a nice package and it is certified from Istanbul Gold Refinery. It is not well known, but likely accepted widely.

This particular Silver coin is the American Silver Eagle (ASE), which is the most popular bullion coin on the planet. It is widely known around the world and widely accepted. These coins are often sold for a premium of $2 , $3, or even $4 over spot price.

It’s the MOST UNDERVALUED asset In the world right now.
The price of it is almost at, or in some cases below cost, but that will change, and those who stack them will be handsomely rewarded.
Gold is and will alsways be King. A source of wealth and elegance from jewelry to decoration.
But silver is one that is to me, one of industrial use, one that will become needed more than wanted.

I want the ASE, so the silver. After the steem rounds I want to start stacking silver eagles next and this will be my first if I win it. Also, I think silver has the highest opportunity to increase in value over my lifetime so think it will be the best "investment", even though getting some gold would be awesome I'm sticking with the silver.

I really don't want to take all your Gold but I would choose gold. The reason is I have enough silver of various sizes should it be needed for trade. I like gold because it's easier to travel with, especially overseas. It is also more respected than silver in many countries. I think silver is #1 but once you have it covered go for the gold. If I should return to South America I would have to sell the silver to get gold.

I want gold because its my husbands dream to own gold since money is just printed piece of paper with no value and since the day I met him he always wanted to own the real gold at least one.
I would love to give it to him for our 20th Anniversary which is coming in May 22 this year.
