Constitutional Silver is worth about 12 times Face Value today, which means it costs about $12 to get one dollar of constitutional silver.
The magic number is 0.723 because there is 0.723 ounces of silver in one dollar's worth of constitutional silver. So, when the price of silver is about $16.50 like today, $16.50 x 0.723 = $11.93. Which is how we get to about $12.
Even with this, dealers will charge $13, $13.50, or even $14 to get their profit.
