Coin Shop Currency - Large Size One Dollar Bill
Just some quick photos of Coin Shop Currency - Large Size One Dollar Bill
I picked up this Large Size One Dollar Bill from a local coin shop. It has the date of May 16, 1914 and also states SERIES OF 1918. So, essentially it was authorized in 1914 and this bill was printed with the series of bills printed in 1918.

This bill has some collectible value to it. However, my bill has too many folds and and damage due to circulation.

- "NATIONAL CURRENCY SECURED BY UNITED STATES CERTIFICATES OF INDEBTEDNESS OR UNITED STATES ONE-YEAR GOLD NOTES DEPOSITED WITH THE TREASURER OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA"

Thanks for the comment @ronaldoavelino. I had an opportunity at the local coin shop to pick up a Large Size Bill, so I was glad to share it.
My recent posts have displayed currencies and I wanted to touch on some highlights. My primary goal is to show that we have had different currencies, even though they look very similar. United States Notes versus Silver Certificates versus Federal Reserve Notes. Each is different and the value was backed in different ways.
