Looks like gold is not allowed to cross the 1300 line yet, but its close. If it does go above (and not just for 10 minutes, but several days), then we can expect a further rise. The 1400, well thats still a bit away. But it could go there if something happens, as I said in my post.

I see it hanging just below 1300 for the close today. If it broke out about this months Jan 4 high today, they would look at it as a false break-out. It looks to me that it will break ice(Upper resistance), then shoot pretty quick to 1345, next resistance. Silver over 16 for sure.
It has closed above 1300 now, lets see if this lasts into the next week. If it does, you could be right. Nice gain in Euro as well.
I posted prior to the futures markets closing for the session, but I did see this morning that Gold did break 1300 at the close. The volume was high, so I look for a continuation of this momentum. A long Green Candle for sure.
Silver a 3% rise, solid
