Todays purchases
So there was no silver today but i did buy 8 WWII Medals awarded to British Service Men, to be honest it is not my favourite thing buying medals as i believe they should be kept in the family but people sometimes just dont care. The medals all had the wrong ribbons as it appears some child had being playing with them, this was quickly rectified and now they will be placed in protectice cases and displayed with respect in one of my many display cases.
The medals consist of:
1939-45 Star
Italy Star
Atlantic Star
The Defense Medal
1939-45 War Medal
At least they will be in a place where they are given the respect they deserve and they are very cool pieces of history.
