Stackitis flared up again...
There I was minding my own business, driving downtown, when my work truck came to a sudden stop for some reason. I wasn't sure at first what happened, but then realized my foot was mashing the brake to the floor!
That's when I realized where I was... In front of the local coin shop! Now I knew what was happening, one of the lasting effects of stackitis is your body automatically trying to get more shiny in your pockets. You see, I was subconsciously driving myself to the shop and simply got there on muscle memory alone!
Anyways, symptoms are subsided a bit now, and here's why.
That bad boy is 1.13 ozt asw. Sterling silver 1981 Barbados $10.00 coin. It is a gorgeous proof that I paid $30.50 CAD for.

That's a welcome addition to my stack for sure! Over spot, but totally worth it in my mind. But that didn't stop the stackitis flare-up! So I added a cute little gold piece to my bill! A bit of a premium on the smaller gold, but it's cute and it all adds up!
So there it is $227.00 CAD. And my stackitis is barely under control.

I almost fell from my chair when I saw the $65 price on that lovely Barbados coin. No, he will not pay this, I said to myself. And I was right. A very beautiful coin with a reasonable price.
Nope, thats apparently the NGCS list price for one though. pretty sweet coin anyway! cheers Ron.
The more I see the Barbados Coins, the more I like them, along with the Somalian Coins. Great catch @fat-elvis.........Go get ya some more

Thanks, Yeah it is a pretty great looking design! Kinda unusual find around here, so I snapped it up. It was marked $65.00, likely thats how much someone paid at a coin show. The shop had it at 32.50, and I got it for 30.50. not too bad I think.
