Just showing off some silver.
Today I cracked this Taku open for a photo shoot. It's so shiney that it's hard to capture all of its details.
One little bit of info on some forum somewhere says there were 5000 of these 5 ounce silver Fiji Taku's made in 2012. It seems quite diffucult to find mintage numbers of these.
The turtle is ready to munch down on this Loon(Canadian $1 coin).
The case is quite scratched, but thats ok-it's whats inside that counts!
I'm @edthecanadian, you're friendly neighborhood silver lover. All of my photos are taken with a S6.
Sweet turtle!
So taku means turtle in Fiji, I guess?
How do you store your silvers? Do they take much space when you collect them?
It does start to add up after a bit. Shoe boxes are all full, coffee cans are full, some burried in the garden...
That's a sweet coin and some great pics!
On #PirateSunday my guess is a SeaTurtle like that may have become Pirate Soup.......................
So many #hashtags to remember. I never remember that one.
I did not know that this 5oz turtle existed. Very beautiful and shiny.
Thanks champ, I think I have a 1/2 and 1 oz around here somewhere too.
Nice turtle! Those lovely art pieces are so impressive to me, the whole process requires such precision!
Thanks fishy😊
