Steem Silver Gold // Freedom Girl Silver Coin

It has been awhile since I posted for Steem Silver Gold and while I am a slow stacker I still love me some Steem Silver Gold crew. Due to circumstances, I am unable to stack at the rate I would like but I still have many pieces I have yet to still share with Steemit.

One of these pieces is the Freedom Girl Silver Coin, and she is one of my favorites. If you know me as a stacker then you know that I pretty much enjoy purchasing coins that I find pretty. This particular coin named after Freedom and her free flowing hair had my eyes totally starry.

Freedom Girl Silver Coin Details

According to Golden State Mint:

The Silver Shield Freedom Girl is a new modern version of the Peace Dollar. The Peace Dollar is regarded as one of the most beautiful coins in the world. It was struck by the US mint after World War One commemorating the "War to End All Wars". 34 year old sculptor Anthony de Francisci used his wife Teresa as a model for the coin. This coin is one of the most classically beautiful coins in the US Mint's history. It is now time to create a more modern beauty. Men have been known to fight to the death for women, treasure and freedom.

Freedom Girl is a stunning combination of all three. Every aspect of Freedom Girl brings out a gorgeous update of the classic Peace Dollar. The original Peace Dollar had her hair tied in a bun with an uncomfortable tiara perched on her head. Freedom Girl's hair is wild and free. Freedom Girl's parted lips and gaze of almost ecstasy looking forward to the future is so seductive, as Freedom should be.

Even her shoulder arching forward brings out more emotion from this modern beauty. She is finished off with modern cues of a hoop earring and a tattoo of the Trivium. The Trivium is the foundation for individual freedom from outside manipulation.

This tattoo of the Trivium has given me some inspiration, I have yet to obtain one but since I am a lady of freedom this calls to me. With my fantastic macro lens I am able to capture the true beauty of this coin, and while I love silver the coins I choose are certainly ones I fall in love with.

• On the obverse is the Freedom Girl, a unique vision of Lady Liberty from the Peace Dollar.

• The reverse side of the round includes the Silver Shield design.

The reverse of the Freedom Girl Silver Shield Round features the common design element for the series. A single sword stands on its point in the center and is immediately surrounded by an ornate design field. Around the outer edge are the flames of a bright sun while engravings identify the name of the collection and the rounds year of issue, weight, purity, and metal content.
