Silver + Kids = The Future

Today’s post is a little different from what I normally look at, however it deals with a question that I regularly ask myself. How can we get kids interested in the silver stacker along with the principles and values that go along with it? The answer to this question serves to expand the ideas of intrinsic value, that debt is something not good and should be limited, savings as a way to increase your net worth and improve your life status, knowledge of history, and not purchasing items you can afford; just to name a few. The passing on of this knowledge not only forwards the stacker mindset on into the future, but will also bring about an appreciation for history and increase the popularity of numismatic hobbies as well. This question often sits in the back of my mind even though I don’t have children because this life style is important to me. Remembering this I have stumbled across some products that I think make it a little easy to fulfill this goal.
While scanning through the products on Monarch Precious Metals website [HERE] ( https://www.monarchpreciousmetals.com/ ) I stumbled upon two new products. Monarch has recently released two versions of Tooth Fairy rounds. The first is a 1/10 oz. .999 fine silver Tooth Fairy Round that comes in its own sleek organza bag. The rounds themselves are .75 inch in diameter and feature the Tooth Fairy on the obverse.

Above the image of the Tooth Fairy the words “Tooth Fairy” appear near the rim. Towards the bottom side of the round the statement “In Trade For One Tooth” appears.

The reverse of the round features the image of a tooth in the center of the round. The wording “Official Visit By The Tooth Fairy” is over laid on top of the tooth.

Across the bottom of the round it states the weight and purity of the round with the Monarch Precious Metals makers mark appearing above it.

Another product they make in the same vein as the 1/10 oz is the 1oz Tooth Fairy round that can be customized. The style of this round is very close to its smaller cousin. In fact, the obverse of the round is exactly the same, however the reverse is different!

This reverse can be engraved with a message or the child's name, which makes it very appealing to the child. There are many different ways that it can be engraved and make sure to check out the product to see them all. The top of the round features the wording "Official visit from the Tooth Fairy" and the bottom shows off the weight and purity. It also comes in an airtight with a display box which is always a plus.

In my opinion, I think these types of rounds are perfect for showing your children the importance of value of silver. It gives them a fun memory and even allows the gift to be personalized, which adds to the emotional impact. I think the wording on the 1/10th ounce round indicating that a trade has taken place is very powerful. It shows the intrinsic value of silver and how it can be used for trade, which is a basis for tons of stacking.
