Found Treasures Episode #1

Welcome back to D Wings World my precious metals family! We are exploring the very first episode of my Found Treasures series! While I was going through all my stuff I located a few items that like a lot of stuff we own had fallen to the wayside and been forgotten about. When I did stumble upon these things they reaffirmed several things! The first is that I have always been a stacker, even before I knew it. The second is that I was lucky enough to have many people around me that liked or at least believed in precious metals. The last is that these items will forever hold cherished memories and now that I have unearthed them I will make sure they stay available to remind me of those times and memories. Well for my first post in the series, I thought I would start big. Behold the very first precious metals item I ever purchased with my own money. Behold:

Thats right my first purchase was a 14K gold Charlotte Hornets charm. I have always been drawn to visually appealing logos and graphics. This charm fit the bill perfectly! I liked the uniqueness of their logo and there was something about it in gold. I can remember the day that I got this charm. My mother was going to a small local jewelry store to pick up a bracelet she was having fixed. As we waited for her bracelet I browsed the cases looking at all of the items for sale. Then I came across this charm and for some reason I had to have it. (Ironicallymore of a Michael Jordan fan but this logo was more appealing than The Bulls. Sidenote Jordan now owns the controlling share of the Hornets.)
Obviously, I asked my mother if I could look at it and she asked the clerk to get it from the case. After removing it from the case I was hook but I still had not found out the cost. Flipping it over there on the cardboard backing was $25. This was good news as I had $40 dollars earned from cutting several lawns. With the cash that was left I was able to also purchase a thin gold chain that has been lost with time and my ability to be rough on items lol. I was over joyed to find this charm and now for a look out of the package.
