Captain K to Hi-Brisil and Beyond #piratesunday #dixiesilverminer entry

Arrrr me brothers and sisters of plundering!! Its #piratesunday again and that means Captain K and crew are up for another riveting and thrilling plunge into excitement! Captain D here and as you remember Slak-tor The Dragon Master and Cornelius of Doggshire just sunk the last of Emperior Ikanus' ships that had attacked them by surprise out of the thick fog surrounding the island of Hi-Brisil.

Captain K laughing as Slak-tor walked to him holding his silver amulet. "Ahhh that I did my brother! The sister to your amulet really came in handy and I thank you again for the gift." Slak-tor replied "That is what it was for my friend. The two call to each other and will locate the other no matter where it is." Captain K looking behind Slak-tor marvel at Tarakona and with awe uttered " It is a wonder to see you and Tarakona has gotten so big since I last saw. Amazing to think that he came from one of the eggs we saved. Now, who is the amazing mind that brought down a ship that seemed unsinkable?" Turning quickly and motioning to Cornelius of Doggshire; Slak-tor said "Introduce yourself brother."

Reaching out his hand Captain K was taken aback when Cornelius of Doggshire reached out and a mechanical gauntlet of shining silver took his hand. Cornelius smiled and said "oh don't mind that; I had a slight accident in the kitchen." Cornelius belted out a loud laugh and shook Captain K's hand excitedly. "Its a pleasure to meet you Captain as Slak-tor has told me many tales from The End War and of your bravery. It truly is an honor!" Captain K smiled and then proclaimed "The honors all mine my friend for you saved me today." Calling his crew over Captain K introduced them to their visitors and then said let us retire to my quarters to discuss our next actions.
Calling Sir Bentley and First Mate D to his quarters the five sat and the Captain started explaining why Slak-tor was vital to reaching Hi-Brisil. "The island of Hi-Brisil is unreachable or at least that is what the tales say, but I don't think that is true. I believe the island we see continues to move because it is an illusion. Simply a reflection of the true island that is above us. You see Slak-tor I need you to give us a ride to the real island in order to reach one of the bearers of a sacred relic. " Slak-tor drinking all of his rum in one gulp looked at Cornelius of Doggshire and asked "What do you think my friend?" Looking down at the charts Cornelius rubbed his face with his mechanical hand and noted "I think is going to be one devil of a ride, but I mean what could go wrong we have a bunny!" Looking at Sir Bentley whom quickly retorted "and a Corndog!" Breaking into laughter the men then looked to Captain K and asked at the same time "When do we leave sir?" "At dawn" the Captain yelled and the men all drank together refreshing friendships and forging new ones through the night.

Early in the morning the 5 men began loading onto Tarakona, who was still resting on the Dragon Fires deck. Cornelius of Doggshire, who the crew quickly started calling Corndog for short, went about securing new ammunition and items to the dragon.

An hour after dawns light the men took off and left the rest of the crew to take care of the Dragon Fire as they ventured toward the true location of Hi-Brisil. Holding tight to the saddle as Tarakona took to the air the men watched as the Dragon Fire was soon far below them. Slak-tor turning to the others noted "I thought something was a little odd when we flew in. Normally the clouds break and sky below from the sky above, but here there are two layers of clouds." Pulling on the reins Slak-tor brought the dragon to a middle section of sky with clouds above and below them. Then he pulled the reigns again and Tarakona shot upward through the second cloud bank. Breaking into the next area of sky an odd thing occured. The dragon and men were inverted as if up became down and down became up. Looking to what was now below them they saw a large island floating and covered by a sheer dome. Pointing First mate D exclaimed "I think there is a door" A large area with a steel cable and gears was on the outside of the dome.

Steering Tarakona to hover near the gears Corndog jumped up and reached for the steel cable with his armored hand. Grabbing tightly he pulled the cable grinding the gears as they were forced to release the door. Getting it just opened enough for Tarakona to fly through they could see a lush and beautiful land with castles and life. Sir Bentley began to yell 'Captain we have to set down sir please!" The Captain motioned and Slak-tor took Tarakona toward the ground in an open field area. Leaping from Tarakona, Sir Bentley ran toward a tree with a symbol carved into it. The other men looked on as he placed his paw against the tree and with baited breath said "Key-Wee. Captain, I know this symbol its from my homeland. It belongs to a great mage and friend named "Key-Wee."
