Friday the 13th is not always bad luck
all info below is from https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/friday-the-13th-why-is-it-unlucky-superstition-history-bad-luck-last-supper-knights-templar-a8445241.html
The superstition surrounding Friday the 13th is said to originate with the Last Supper, which was attended by 13 people – Jesus Christ along with his 12 disciples – on (Maundy )Thursday, the night before his crucifixion by Roman soldiers on Good Friday.
The union of day and date can also been traced back to King Philip IV of France when he arrested hundreds of Knights Templar on Friday 13 October 1307.
This is the second Friday the 13th of 2018, following on from April’s day of ill omen.
An irrational fear of the date is known as paraskevidekatriaphobia.
In Spanish-speaking countries and in Greece, it is Tuesday the 13th that frightens people. In Italy, it is Friday the 17th.
