I think I accidentally became a stacker...

Five months ago I had never heard of stacking.

Three months ago I gifted a 1oz bar to a friend who had been talking about portfolio diversification via precious metals.

Then I received a coin in return.

How cute is this bird?

I love Christmas and obsessively collect Christmas decor, and I have always been fond of silver (jewelry, silver trimmed wine glasses & China, tea sets, charms, picture frames, etc). Somehow this one little coin encompasses two of my loves in one! How had I not considered this option before?

I like the size and weight of the coin. I like the feel of it in my hand. I also like that it is small enough not to be clutter. I can just tuck it away in a drawer easy peasey.

Then I started to look online for more!

So where am I at today? Some are still on the way, but I am in for 17 ounces! 😬 (Shhhh don’t tell).

The coins I have bought are super random and vary wildly in price. I know some people stack to diversify their portfolios. Some stack for investment. Some stack because they are convinced metal is the only “real” money they will have when the economy tanks... So far I have just purchaed things I like.

I will share more about my pieces over time, but for now I am happily settling in to this new hobby.

Cool coins. Welcome to the world of stackin :)

Thank you!

Welcome to the world of silver and stacking.

Thank you. 😊

Buy what you like, buy rounds which are generic, which can be used for barter or trade. Watch the mark-up as there will always be a better price if you look........Good luck stacking.......Go get ya some

I’m gonna get me some. 😄

That is a great coin to get as a gift, there is something really awesome about silver coins. I got one as christmas gift a couple years ago from my father. I have a few now, I like to carry them around. Touching precious metals is an oddly nice feeling.

Ahh, a coin from your dad. That is sweet. It’s
something from him that will be easy to carry with you always.

Cool; coin and welcome.

Thank you. 🙂

Welcome to the life 😀

Thank you! People around here REALLY seem to like opening packages from you. It’s cool that you make your own. ☺️

Another one bites the dust! Congrats on your new hobby, but be warned, the stackitus is real (goog it ;)

Cheers!
