Hello @ssg-community, when I saw the post for the icon contest, I think I originally misread the names wrong as 'Precious and the Silver Mermaid'. So I got this idea of a pirate ship sailing around, going from port to port, and visiting and rewarding its followers and supporters.
My logo/icon idea is a close-up image of the front-end of a pirate ship with a figurehead.
The pirate ship is named with "The Silver Mermaid" on the side, and the figurehead is a mermaid that the pirates onboard call "Precious". She has a sash with her name written on it.
The steem logos, etc..., maybe could be worked into the sails or something.
I'm thinking that the icon would show the first 3/4 (like pic above) of the ship big enough to show the name "The Silver Mermaid" printed on the side of the ship, and a name the on the sash of the mermaid "precious" is also in view.
And I am thinking that a large header/banner at the top of the ssg-community page could tie-in a larger ocean scene that also incorporates the school of fish (from the steem silver rounds) swimming underneath the silhouette or profile of the ship.
Then, I realized that I suck at drawing and art...
So, if anyone would like to help me out and contribute any artwork for my above ideas and imagery, I'll give you full credit for the contest and stuff. I like my idea; unfortunately, I just cannot take my thoughts much further than my words with drawing. lol.
I made the pics above with filters in Gimp using a copyright free images found with Google.

I like it too, but I am totally unable to draw and a little informatic-impaired...

I was visualizing more of a Side View to give a clearer outline of her Breasts, with the "Real Silver Mermaid" in the Water, looking up at Precious and the Ship... Just a thought... I'm no Artist...
Me too! but I was working from a photo I found online to get the basic idea out of my head. (just about the profile part)

A thought just popped into my head... The Silver Mermaid can be Under Water looking at the "Ship" you Described in your Entry... Except the Ship will be Sunken... It makes more sense to have the "Real" Silver Mermaid swimming around, under water...
