Today on 2 Minutes with the Farmer join us on a half dollar silver hunt. We got $420 half dollars from a bank in central Illinois and we are going to see if any are silver. You will have to watch to see how we did.

What do you do with the rest of them now that you've gone through them all? :D I mean do you bring them back to the bank and try again or hang on to them all until you go back home and try to trade them in there? :D

I do not think most people working in the bank have any idea that there is such a thing as a silver half dollar
Gosh - but interesting they sell those coins in a box. Never heard of this trick. But what if you Bank is on steem and they find out? :D

I have been doing it for a few years. You can even go into your bank and order half dollars by the $500 dollar box. I have done that before. It takes a week to get them but then you can look through them. We hav found many silver half dollars this way.
Never heard of a Silver Euro coin (i live in Germany)

Now that I do not know. A lot of American coins before 1964 were silver but do not know about Europe.
After WW2 we never really had silver/gold backed currency. Deutsche Mark was strong, but never made out of Silver, i think. Same for other european currencies.
