Weekly Family Half-Dollar Silver Hunt!
Well it is that time of week again, when the family gathers around the dining room table to sort through 2,000 half dollars in the hopes of finding that elusive wild silver. The hunt this week started off like all the hunts with excitement and high expectations. Unfortunately, it soon faded after sorting through half the coins and not finding silver. The excitement began to diminish but we still had 1,000 coins to look through. You know what we ended up with?
We ended up with a huge bowl full of 2,000 clad half-dollars. Not a single silver one in the hunt today. O’well we still got to spend time as a family and had some good laughs. The kids were pretty disappointed though.
There is always next week. Thank you for following along. Maybe next week will be the week we hit the mother lode. You never know, that is why we have to keep trying.

I have about $3 in silver I have found in pocket change (mostly quarters). Don't give up the ship, LOL! Keep looking!
