I couldn't think of better caption than to quote Billy Joel's famous song "Storm front approaching, mood indigo". There is, of course, literally a thunderstorm in my area and it is totally black outside (in the middle of the day) but in a distant land of Venezuela, videos are surfacing on how the looting is going rampant - a reminiscence of Mad Max scenario. This is what socialism does and it degrades very fast.

While we are seeing the shift of power to Russia, China, India and Asian countries in general, our nation is getting increasingly divided. As the movie "Captain America" drove home the point that to destroy a strong entity you have to destroy from within. That's what is being done to America - so sad. While there are a lot of people beating the drums of war, I want to remind them of a song "War, what is it good for? absolutely nothing!" Strength comes from character and not from the number of missiles that a nation can fire.

On a more mundane level, as I mentioned in yesterday's blog, I didn't like the silver action yesterday and sure enough, we lost all the gains of yesterday and then some. Silver continues to be on a downward trend.

Gold failed to close above $1220 again. Not a sign of strength. And unless gold gains, silver will not gain.

Much of euphoria around Ethereum disappeared today with Ethereum down to $194. I wouldn't be surprised if it touches the previous low of $180. And the reason for that is that the whole crypto market cap is down to just $82 billion. This is a bit of surprise because there are so many initiatives that are being taken by various governments and banks to use the blockchain technology. While Morgan Stanley released the statement that Bitcoin is nothing but speculation, banks such as Fidelity are making big investments in exploring the ways blockchain can be integrated with their operations.

At the time of writing this post, the dollar was exactly flat!

There is not much time left now to stack silver. First time in last 5 years, my coin dealer mentioned to me that they are out of stock on silver!
