Visiting Tampa, the mountain rebuilt by the Brasov people at the beginning of the last century.

Today I want share with you another great place of my country România.
Tampa, the wonderful mountain in the heart of the city of Brasov, We all know the beautiful writing with Hollywood but not many know we have in Romania too something with the same beauty,in Brasov on Mount Tampa, we meet the name of the town, which in the evening is beautifully lit and is still observe from the distance due to the height of 950 meters mountain where is placed ,and is the only landscape reservation in Romania that lies an area of ​​150 hectares.

Before to go to the telecabin (cable car) that will bring us up the mountain , there is an parking lot next to the old wall that was surrounded the city in the past. The Braşov city was considered a fortress of the seven Bastions.And the area next to Tâmpa it was know by the name of “The area beyond the top walls “ This great walls after a long time off standing in ruins it was rebuilds based on historical documents.

This road is used for arrive to another beautiful place Poiana Braşov were we have a great panorama of the city and Tâmpa mountain.

Walking slowly to the place we at going to take the cable cabin we pass over the ruins of Shoemakers Tower ,here I enjoy the greatest boiled corn bought from a stand with snacks.

Here is still can see a part of the wall.
And we go up and up bai the beautiful alee


And we ar here ready to take the cable cab , after we take our tickets and take a foto of the old town layout, we start to enter one by one introducing our tickets in a machine in order to pass and take the cabin cable.This is in functionality since the 1971 year and is still in great condition, has a capacity of 20 people and is making the link between the city at the foot of Tampa and the Tampa Massif,passing the 573 m distance between them daily, which consists of a trip of about 3 minutes in the cable cabin.

They offer us from his windows a beautiful view over the city, which is getting smaller slowly , slowly.

The great Tampa hill or Mount Tampa, as it is said, was not always that beautiful. In the twentieth century it was devastated by a great fire that devastated its entire vegetation, remaining only a deserted and rocky place, much of Tampa was virtually deforested. But to the amazement of many, the inhabitants of Brasov united by the strong desiredesire to regain this maintain beauty beforehat ,they carried land in baskets and * itemreplanted the trees,walking on foot, and replanting the forest that is visible today.

Once arrived we meet a bar where in summer we can refresh with a various refreshing drinks and in the cold seasons we can warm up to a boiled wine with cinnamon. Also in the warm season we meet stands with various berries, beautifully arranged in wicker baskets or casseroles, and a lot of souvenirs.
And now let’s claim a little higher and se the beautiful panorama of the city.

We have many great places here to enjoy , in the fresh and clean air surrounded by tall trees and rock.

We can even get behind the great sign , just so we can really see how big the letters are.

Here in the past years was a famous restaurant, namely Panoramic Restaurant, which can be restored for this is working on a collaboration with the company Ana Teleferic, those who provide cable cabin uphill .

What can be more beautiful then taking your meals in the beautiful background of the downtown.We hope it will be available soon.

A few more steps and we arrive on the panorama platform, and for this great view I don’t need any words the beautiful landscapes speak for my.

It was the greatest experience I ever had , there is the perfect place to feel free.

This is the place where you reborn for start living again more free and more confident.

I came here by car and traveled a distance of 365 km from Lugoj , I made this road in about 4 hours, more than half the way going on autobahn. But it can also be reached by train ,Brasov have 4 Traian stations with different routes including Budapesta, Viena, Munchen, Praga, Bratislava, Cracovia and around our country. the nearest airport, for the lovers of flight is at the Sibiu at a distance of approximately 140 km, and from here can take a train or a bus.
And if you take care of accommodation, know that Brasov is the 1st place in Romania at the number of accommodation units. With many hotels or hostels.
So you put on the road and do not miss a perfect trip, because I only told you about Tampa but there is more to visit here 😊
