RE: Na, dann will ich doch mal den "Steem" repräsentieren... (Bewerbung)

Oh, you don't know how excited I am to see your application, you are like fresh air, from the old school, of those who love to write for the love of art, and of those who understand what a community is and that we are all part of the community.

I understand very well what you are explaining and I completely share your reasons, I hope everyone can understand that they do not do things for sc, but for the community.

It would be an honor to have you teaching and spreading what you know. Here is a reader of yours :-)

I wish you much success, I know you will do great! 🤗🌺

And you can't believe how happy I am about your comment!
You and I have exchanged ideas from time to time and have found that we have different attitudes. We have always been able to understand and respect each other's perspective. There is no "wrong and right", every path is adapted to one's own circumstances and is good as long as one stands behind it. You were and are always a great inspiracion for me for such thoughts.... :-))

Haha, "fresh old air" is a nice metaphor. As long as it is not antiquated and dusty, everything is fine.... ;-)

Good success to you, too - I'd be honoured to work alongside you.

have found that we have different attitudes.

Sometimes there are compatible and incompatible differences. But being able to recognize what is different and give it space enriches both of us. (speaking of course in a general sense)

We have always been able to understand and respect each other's perspective. There is no "wrong and right", every path is adapted to one's own circumstances and is good as long as one stands behind it.

That's right, there is no absolute truth, everyone has their truth. The important thing here is that this truth be sincere, be consistent.

In any case, human beings are complex, we change, we mutate, and that is also fine.

You were and are always a great inspiracion for me for such thoughts.

You are too, I believe that someone who can express their ideas with great freedom is worthy of admiration, because it is something that I also pursue, as I said, an ideal, another ideal :-))) ... Ideals are guides for my.

By de way, and since I have read many comments about the expectations of what an SR is or should be, what does it represent? I suppose it's a servant, someone who helps others, I don't see it as a role of power at all. It is a service, more than anything. That it would be great if we communicated and got together, that's true, and hopefully it can happen.

I think that much is left to our freedom and imagination, to our motivation... I am open to all of that.

Well, I wanted to tell you these things, after coming back here and reading all the comments. 😉

Ideals are guides for my

That is already the best approach. And in this certainty, there is no shame in overturning ideals or possibly admitting that one has represented "the wrong" ones. This only proves strength of character, the main thing is that you remain true to yourself. As you say, everything mutates/develops. People change, behavior changes, opinions change and... even platforms change... ;-)

expectations of what an SR is or should be

Hm. I'm approaching this bit by bit via the general definition of "represent". This means "to portray something" and for me this means first and foremost to represent a good example with a clear conscience. That is quite a task. The definition does not per se include servant, teacher or for that matter police officer.... ;-)

it would be great if we communicated and got together

I think that would be very important. Of course, you will never reconcile all the opinions and attitudes of 20-40 SR. But one should exchange and try to develop at least a somewhat aligned common basis. Isn't there something like a chat group for the SRs? There are enough egomaniacs on the Steem, SR should not represent this in my eyes.

reading all the comments

Haha, yeah, there's a lot to read, I'm puzzled myself. But that's exactly the "engagement" that I love on the Steem as social media: If a text inspires the community to an interesting dialogue (much more than comment 1, reply = comment 2, end), also "uninvolved" respond to the comments of others, community takes place.

Of course, it includes setting a good example, and that leads us to a dilemma, a good example of what? Because for that we have to know what is expected of someone in Steemit. And if we do it to please others or we do it because we like it and we identify with it. And in the latter there is an obvious divergence between the motivations that attract people to Steemit.

The "ideal" would be that people are here because they like it. Not to turn Steemit into a job that becomes immense and overwhelming... Since someone takes it that way, they are already beginning to lose their joy and taste, and they have written their next withdrawal.

The definition does not per se include servant, teacher or for that matter police officer.... ;-)

Becoming a servant depends on each one. In my Spanish language, being a "server" is not the same as being a "servant". I don't know if there is a word in English to express my idea. I meant someone who is inclined to help others, in our case, someone who is available to other steemians, guide and guide them, without this being a forced task, of course.

It does not include being a "teacher", since we are all learning, it would be being a collaborator who "shares".

Nor does it include being "Police", hahaha, but if we see something irregular, the logical thing to do is to say so, if we care about the community and its operation.

What I do want to emphasize is that in Steemit, sometimes we take everything very personally, with a lot of drama, there are those who make an effort for a few days, and then leave tired and exhausted... but nobody forces them to do that. In my experience, you have to maintain a balance like everything in life, and not lose the joy of being in Steemit, so that it does not become a boring "job" in which you are an "employee". I don't like that idea and I've always seen it as very absurd, but it's just my opinion. Steemit must be something different...

Maybe I have a lot to say, and I don't want to write too much lol 😅

The day Steemit becomes a job for me I have to leave... 😉

I look forward to continuing fruitful dialogues with you.... 😊

Isn't there something like a chat group for the SRs?

Yes, there are groups on Discord, it's just that they're not very active, not to say that they have almost no activity...

That part should be energized... :-)
