The future of STEEM....
How many times we said steem is the best blogging platform?
Several Times....
Today I don't want to talk with you about what is steem today, i wanna speak about what would be STEEM tomorrow!!
Have you ever thought about the future of the platform?
- Dlive
- Dsound
- Dtube
- ecc.....
if you notice a lot of people, on STEEM and its derivatives, upload different contents without having so much relevance on it. This simply because not everyone still knows the true potential of this "product"....
Let's try to ignore the economic aspect that is certainly important.
Steem is:
- Decentralized
- A Blockchain (all informations are stored on the Blockchain)
- A Blockchain (can be created every frontend to use it)
- A Blockchain (there are several developers behind)
- Technically safe (private and public keys)
- Technically simple (it does not require framework, java, activex, ecc... to be used)
So we can certainly say Steem is better then all other Social Networks!!!
The biggest problem of this projects is always the commercialization. More money goes around the platform and more users will be interested on it (LIKE INVESTORS).
I remember for example when WhatsApp was bought by Facebook.
He started from nothing and then became an important platform.
And if something like this happens on steem too?
This is the Market Cap Steem Reached.
I unfortunately have to tell you that who own 70% of the steem MCAP are at most five or six people.
And if @ned make a financial agreement with other companies? What woul be the future of steem?

After the Facebook-crisis, what I am instantly thinking is: we DO have the rights to our own content, right?

No. We should have, but we don't.
I just don't hope it gets to be the same here as well? I know it is not the same, but a few owners, the thought of this being sold to someone like Facebook or Google or whatever doesn't feel great...

Hi @yanosh01 this is a very good article with a very common question in, thank you for thinking and sharing your thoughts with us.
But have a look here to my comment this morning to another post here facebook-stops-small-initiatives from @ishrat I guess this is similar context and so I believe it´s good to know this also to get a better overview on that maybe (alone and on it´s own) rising project STEEMIT !
So let me know what you think about that, I guess I will take this on my agenda to follow up, maybe there is some other more powerful users than me, and maybe also the guys who create STEEMIT will give some comments to this issue to get an idea what they thought about and have planed for the future.
