SteemQuest is an ongoing and growing RPG world here on Steem. New players are always welcome. Players can come and go as they desire, just let us know when you are leaving (say you are taking an IRL 2 week vacation) we will make sure your character is somewhere safe until you return (or Thunk may just cover you with leaves on the side of the road)

Our Story:
Kermit has agreed to join the party.
The party is still talking with the elders,
Thunk wants to take a glowing blue rock. Kermit manages to get one for him.
Happy walks over to Thunk with a frogman in tow.
Pandora wants to leave this filthy place ASAP
Omar is getting really hungry with all these delicious frog legs around
Quaid / Panda are still working on negotiations.

I propose a truce between our peoples. We will let the others of our kind know that the amphibious folk are not enemies. When our soldiers come to kill spiders they will pour the body parts into your river to provide you with food. We have much to gain by trading knowledge and magic with each other.
If you are slow to trust, which is understandable since blood has been drawn by both sides, we can begin with an exchange of ambassadors. Send Kermit with us to explore our world with us and learn of our ways. We will leave a close ally, the wizard Zarvagos to teach you of our magic and customs while he learns of yours.
If the rulers of our land become hostile to you and refuse to live at peace with the frogfolk, then I give you my word that myself and my allies here will do everything in our power to permanently seal the portal to prevent any of our kind from waging war against you. Quaid will then offer his Holy Water as a gift to the elder, and explain briefly what it does.
Pandora, not understanding a word of this frog-tongue-speak interrupts Quaid and says: "What's it saying? If you are negotiating for their surrender, keep in mind we have the upper hand. It's clear that they are an inferior species, a handful of us slew many of them without much of a sweat. We might as well claim these lands in the name of Lord Darkcloak. I'm sure the reward will be bountiful!"
I love kermit too much to conquer frog lands.

MR. FROG Thanks putting the stone in my pocket...but its no room so. am handing over a piece. of cake to the Frog man...and smiling back whit all my teeth showing...thinking thes is how the from man is doing it so its most be correct.
In order to seal the proposed treaty panda suggests we use a secret handshake, as it looks cool. And also as a sign that we are peaceful members of our worlds to one another.

Quaid: "What? Omar? Of course he's coming with us he came here with... oh, the frogman? Yeah, no he's cool."
I added a card with his stats/abilities to the folder
IThunk walks up to Pandora dragging along Kermit... “Hey Pandora. Each of us have to perform the new handshake with Kermit. It goes like this...”. Thunk takes Kermit’s right hand, slides up his arm to the elbow forearm to forearm, then adds a chest bump. Repeats with the left arm and ends with a hug and back pat.
“Go ahead, it’s your turn...’
Thunk snickers an steps back to watch...
"Ohhhh, no you don't...!", and Pandora quickly sidesteps to dodge the incoming frogman with her elven agility.
Pandora remains bored, irritable and annoyed with the foul stench but when she sees Thunk and Kermit fiddling around with the blue rocks they pique her interest and she scuttles over to check out the rocks for herself and, perhaps, take one.

...no idea why there ended up being two rolls.. maybe DM rolls manually to settle the score?
That happened to me once, but then I hit refresh and one of the extra ones disappeared... not sure why. Gremlins perhaps. Oh, everyone if you kill a gremlin it's worth 80 XP!

Happyme is determined to learn more about what these frog-people do here and asks the question again, hoping to have the key translate for us now that we are all close together again.
What do they do with the glowing rocks? Is there anything special about this cavern? Why do the elders choose to be here?

Tell me... do you have gremlins here? The first time we saw the portal open there were gremlins in our world. Are the gremlins friendly? Assuming you know of them, of course.
Thunk, “Gremlins? Dang it, missed that battle! I saw the Goblins then the frogmen... then we had dinner... roast beef?...no I think it was vegetarian...maybe vegan...nice frogmen 😬
Sorry, are gremlins and goblins different? It was one of them, that's all I know.
Thunk, “AHA, I know those little green guys look alike. I used to get them mixed up too”.
Thunk looks at Kermit. ‘Not YOU green guys, though. You are DEFINITELY different. What big eyes you have, what big teeth you have (I didn’t know frogs had teeth)... and what big legs you have”. Thunk looks at Happy and winks.
