I am a wine specialist, it is my job. I recently joined steemit and decided to post wine reviews, articles about different regions in the world, as well as other adult beverage things. I quickly noticed the beer and wine tags, but not much in the way of other spirits and cocktails. Most posters use the food category, which is very appropriate, but they often get lost in the crowd.
I would like to encourage the posters of these to start using the STEEMPUB tag. Think of it as your steemit liquor store or bar. Specialists from all over the world are ready to help you find what you are looking for!
There is also a new "STEEMPUB" channel in the steemchat, feel free to post and promote your blogs there!! I will be as active as possible in the chatroom, and will personally upvote and resteem every post there. I have also already started working on getting a steempub-trail set-up, to help curate and promote the best of the adult beverage industry.

I'd love to taste whiskey! And I'd love to read about it. Only problem is that a bottle of good whiskey tends to be expensive and spoils if you don't drink it immediately.
I am a whiskey fan myself! Actually though, it lasts for a pretty long time after its open. With wine, 3 days tops, but whiskey can go up to a year or a little longer, depending on how much is in the bottle. It is expensive for the good one though! $$$ Thanks for the comment Buzz!!
