Beer Review #24 - Grolsch
Name - Grolsch
Style - Pale Lager
Brewed - Netherlands
Color - Deep golden with a medium white head.
Flavor - This brew brought back memories and is just as good as it was the first time. Heineken gets the most brand awareness from Holland however Grolsch is a contender for sure. The aroma is malty with a hint of spcie along with a mild bitter thrown in. I found it refreshing and wonder if the beer in bottle form still has the ceramic top with metal latch over in Holland. If anyone knows please let me know as it did years ago here in the US. The carbonation was just right and the finish left me wanting another. I recommend this the next time you want a proven great tasting beer.

As pale lagers go, pretty decent. In other aspects... meh. It reminds me of my Amsterdam visit a few years ago. Good luck!
