Brave exceeds 10 million active users!
The Brave browser combines privacy with a blockchain-based digital advertising platform (BasicAttentionToken), and offers a 3-6x faster browsing experience compared to other competing browsers such as Google's Chrome and Mozilla's Firefox.
Brave 1.0 was released on November 13, 2019, to positive reviews and also saw a surge in user adoption. Brave went from 8.7 million monthly active users in October 2019, to 10.4 million monthly active users at the end of November 2019. That is a 19% increase across all platforms. This means that Brave’s monthly active users doubled in only one year!
Daily active users have tripled in the last 12 months, to 3.3 million. The release of Brave 1.0 brought Brave Rewards to Apple's iPhone devices, which contributed to the app’s 27% growth in the past month.
Brave Verified content creators (we are one :)) have also grown significantly, with nearly 340,000 creators on platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, Vimeo, GitHub, and their own web sites. Verified creators have signed up as a publisher to receive Brave’s built-in token payments from their Brave-using audience. This is a 12x increase from the 28,000 who had verified at the beginning of 2019.
As we near the end of the year, with a strong monthly active users showing for the beginning of December as well, we’ll be sharing more stats from 2019 in the coming weeks and unveiling more exciting features we have in the works.It seems to me that Brave is here to stay. It has seen exponential growth in a highly competitive market in a short amount of time. It's large user base also gives it's BAT token one of the biggest markets in the cryptocurrency world. Their goal is to revolutionize the way online advertising is done. Can they do it? I have no idea. But, I do know that they have an excellent, experienced team behind the project. The creator of Brave previously founded Mozilla and created the JavaScript programming language. Not a bad résumé, eh?

Hey @treepi, this is a great update on the ongoing success of the Brave browser and BAT token. I fell in love with Brave the moment I used it. It's so much faster than chrome and is now starting to integrate even more features that allow for a better experience. They just added BAT token earning for mobile and I'm loving every second of viewing ads for the first time... ever! It's amazing what they have done.

Oh thank you. That's generous. Wish I could take advantage of that offer. But, the only problem is I post everything to my blog first through SteemPress. So, all my posts appear on Steem 3 days later. I do have Steemleo set as one of my default tags though. :)
I do use the interface for commenting sometimes. I switch between leo and steempeak depending on what I'm doing.
And yes, Brave is great. Has some minor issues. But, I've been using it on my phone for well over a year. I've been using it on Windows and Linux basically since it launched. They have a good project with some staying power. I think BAT is very undervalued and is a solid long-term investment. Especially considering the growth Brave has seen over the last couple years.
